I love these games but they seem static , with lots started/formed but never completed. Is there something that could be done to get this moving again?

Yes, actually I've made several changes to the head to head game to address this and some other issues...but keep getting distracted and have not actually posted anything yet!  Maybe this weekend (wish me luck) Smiley
