new interface

Well thank you very much..........I can no longer play the game, why have you changed it, there is no chat available and the screen is so small I cannot read it.
I loved playing Kabauble , and will miss it and the people on there very much.

I know I can, in theory, login via the game itself but I don't have a clue what the right login/pw is, since I have always gone through facebook.

I also have forgotten my password and there seems to be no way to retrieve it/have it sent to me on the new interface. Please help! I am going through KaBauble withdrawal....

@Pat, bitca : A lot of issues have been resolved with the new interface, I'm hoping of course that everyone just loves it to death going forward   The biggest remaining obstacle is making it more friendly for those with low resolution displays.  I'm trying to decide what road to go down with respect to this.

@mder it looks like you made it on last night, so I'm going to assume this has been resolved.

WOD: Well, I went to http://games.wode.com/ (without the kabauble.php after the slash) and found myself on an old page where I had pre-saved my password (via my browser's password memory). It's not an obvious route, so maybe adding a link in the login window ("forgot password") would help others.

I'm with Pat, et al.  I cannot see the screen!  I'm not even very old - but it is impossible to play.  Sigh. Makes me very sad as I've spent lots of hours, and even paid my membership fee, with this game.  I'm sad.

Gerenuk came up with the best tip ever re the screen size. In IE it's possible to change the zoom level - this works great - game and scores on the same page - big enough to read! Unfortunately, I can't get the same to work in Firefox - maybe to do with a setting somewhere else - any ideas?

You can right-click in Firefox to get to some zoom options.  I'm glad that's there!  But this is not in my opinion the "correct" solution.  I'm working on having the chat window appear and disappear over the board like it used to, if your screen resolution isn't high enough to reasonably put them both up at once.  This and the mysterious disappearing sounds are my top priorities right now and should be up very soon.

For the last couple days, the "Yesterday's High Score" when you log in is pointing to the high score the day before last. Maybe it got messed up when one day's game ran overtime and had to be updated late?

I have a great idea- it's novel really.  How about if we go back to the old game?  Big enough we can see it, lovely chat opportunities with our friends?  What has the new interface done for us?  Is there love for it?  Just a thought.

OK... hopefully a lot of the issues, especially the ones about the tiny board on low-resolution displays, have been improved as of this morning.   

You can use the single-quote to go back and forth to chat now as well, which is nice except for when you try and use one in a sentence.  I think this key will be changed in the very near future...
