New KaBauble art

I've got someone helping out with new artwork for KaBauble!  I want to have some players participate in the feedback process.  The current "prototypes" follow.  Please share your thoughts!

This is certainly a lot livelier-looking than the current art. How are rotatable pieces and pieces with blanks going to look in the new layout? How are colored board spaces going to show through the pieces?

The first style of new art adds an extra B to the name of the game. :-o

I don't like the partially-covered board spaces of the second new style. Are we going to be able to scroll around and see what is hidden under the art? If those spaces don't count then our board's going to be a lot smaller.

Overall, very lively! And I guess, one wants change every once in a while.

But just to throw in my two cents:
1) simple square playing field maybe boring from an "artsy" viewpoint, but it looks better.

2) perhaps, tone down the colors a bit? Particularly if the light field is chosen. It'll get pretty tough on the eyes after a bit.

I am sorry but I cannot add anything positive about any of the new artwork, I find them all very difficult to see/concentrate on,and bearing in mind how long I spend online playing this game it needs to be restful on the eye.
They are very young, gaudy and comic like , and probably therefore not in keeping with the people who actually play the game.
